A 64-year-old retiree, Alhaji Kamoru Aiyedun, on Friday prayed an Oshodi Grade `B` Customary Court, Lagos, to dissolve his 21-year-old marriage, to prevent him from dying of hypertension. The retiree alleged that his wife, Fausat, 50, had spiritual problems and described her as one man, one child woman. "My findings revealed that her being married four times in the past is not ordinary. She has spiritual problems. "It has been five years since I discovered this and since then I have stopped having sex with her or even giving her money for food and other things," he said. According to him, Fausat had allegedly threatened his life as she fought and cursed him often. The petitioner also alleged that Fausat had sexually transmitted disease and quarrelled with his older children whom he had from his previous wives. "She could not give proper training to the only child she has for me and now she (daughter) has become a kleptomaniac. I am tired of both mother and daughter as they a! re giving me high blood pressure. "I do not want them to kill me before my time, as my name implies, `life is sweet`, therefore, I want to enjoy life, " he said. Responding, Fausat, a cleaner, alleged that she got the infection from her husband and had since been on medication. "I think my husband's problem was because I deprived him of sex following the infection I got from him.
